Senior M&A Advisor Career Opportunity [Remote]

We are looking for one to two senior M&A advisors or investment bankers to join our team and work alongside our founder, Jacob Orosz. As a senior M&A advisor, you will be involved in representing lower-middle market business owners in the sale of their businesses.

An M&A Advisory Career with Morgan & Westfield 

You will step directly into a robust book of potential business fueled by our proactive marketing efforts, including a high-traffic website and one of the top-rated podcasts in the industry. You’ll have a steady stream of potential new clients and focus on deal making while our client-services team handles the details. This role is significantly different from many other M&A firms in that you will be walking directly into incoming deal flow, you’ll receive much more support than other M&A firms, and we won’t charge you any fees.

About the M&A Advisor Role

Your primary responsibilities will include working directly with our sell-side clients from start to finish of the M&A process. You will be fully supported by our full-time, in-house client-services team, who performs the majority of the back-office activities involved in the sale process, such as preparing the CIM, Teaser, and buyer list, contacting and screening buyers, and managing the details of the due diligence process.

We have one of the most streamlined sales processes in the industry, which allows you to focus the majority of your time on closing transactions.

Support From Our Client Services Team

Our in-house client-services team will fully support you by executing The Morgan & Westfield 4-Step Method for selling a business. Your primary responsibilities will include client communications, such as handling inbound consultations for prospective clients, managing negotiations, and coordinating communications with parties involved in the transaction.

Our founder, Jacob, will continue to be involved in the company, focusing on creating content (e.g., growing our podcast, developing new courses, writing new books, and marketing activities to obtain new clients), and he is looking for one to two full-time M&A advisors to replace himself as the primary deal maker.

Your primary role(s) in the sale process is as follows:

  • Negotiate the letter of intent.
  • Manage the due diligence process.
  • Coordinate and oversee the closing process.

M&A Advisor Qualifications

  • 5 to 10+ years of full-time, verifiable sell-side experience in investment banking or M&A. We must directly verify your experience by contacting your past firms, clients, etc. There are absolutely no exceptions whatsoever.
  • Fully independent, no training required
  • Tech-savvy
  • Full-time, committed professionals only, although you may start part-time 
  • Central or Eastern time zone only
  • Experience in Google Docs is preferred, although not required
