Jacob Orosz is President of Morgan & Westfield, author of numerous articles and books, including The Art of the Exit, A Beginner’s Guide to Business Valuation, The Exit Strategy Handbook, Closing the Deal, and Acquired, and host of the M&A Talk podcast series. He has over 20 years of experience facilitating mergers, acquisitions, sales, and other business transfers. Jacob has successfully participated in or managed the sale of over 300 privately held companies representing both buyers and sellers.

Jacob has represented clients in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, and Asia. He founded Morgan & Westfield in 2008 and is actively involved in both Main Street and middle-market transactions, assisting domestic and international clients with business sales, mergers, acquisitions, valuations, and exit planning. Jacob focuses on sell-side services and is the leader in many middle-market transactions.

Ann Miller

Executive Assistant to the President

Ann joins us with considerable experience in marketing, advertising, project management, and executive support. As a senior executive assistant to the president of a construction company, events project manager of a multinational retail firm, and owner of an events organizing company, Ann has supported C-suite and senior-level executives. She brings an eye for detail, extensive project management, and process-streamlining experience to every team at M&W.

Ann graduated with honors from St. Theresa’s College, earning her Bachelor’s in Corporate Communications. A busy mom of three who loves spending time with family and friends, Ana also enjoys reading and DIY projects at home when she has free time.

Emery Orosz

Emery Orosz

Director of Client Intake

Emery has been working with his son Jacob and the Morgan & Westfield team for 10 years, sharing his expertise in running and managing small and mid-sized companies. He has extensive industry experience, from managerial positions supervising up to 1200 people to working with nationwide franchisors to owning and operating two businesses of his own. He brings this range of knowledge about the small and mid-size business market into each conversation he has with potential buyers and sellers. When he is not working with Jacob, Emery enjoys spending time with his wife and family.

Lindiwe Chiumbu-Maseko

Director of Client Services

Lindiwe Chiumbu-Maseko is a Business Intelligence and Data Analyst with a background in Finance and Data Science. Through her career, she has developed her skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and engaging data reporting. Lindiwe’s enthusiastic approach to new opportunities and passion for learning and connecting with others helps her forge new opportunities for our clients.

Lindiwe leverages her skills to analyze financial data, assess potential acquisitions, and contribute to strategic decision-making by extracting valuable insights from complex datasets and communicating them with our clients in an easy-to-understand manner.

In her spare time, Lindiwe enjoys reading non-fiction, doing puzzles, and listening to true crime podcasts.

Irv Williamson

Irv Williamson

Director of Financial Analysis, CPA

Irv’s 30-year career began by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University. He brings many years of financial management experience to Morgan & Westfield, including working with a variety of start-ups and Fortune 50 companies in manufacturing, distribution, service, building materials, wireless, medical devices, high-tech, construction industries, E-commerce, and SaaS.

Prior to joining Morgan & Westfield, Irv was the owner of Growth Guidance Solutions, a consulting firm dedicated to helping businesses in transition. Irv’s extensive background consists of serving as the Chairman, CEO, & CFO of several public, private, emerging growth, development and international technology companies. They include a number of privately held organizations including the manufacturer of military defense systems and consumer products. Irv also held the position of systems integrator for various national box stores.

His role in each organization was to align accounting and finance functions to achieve profound, measurable results. Irv has completed many debt and equity financings, participated in organizational and financial restructuring, led the selection and implementation of several ERP systems, implemented comprehensive strategic and business plans, developed value added incentive programs, and spearheaded employee leadership programs.

Melanie Fairhurst

Director of Knowledge Management

With a background in academia, editing, and research, Melanie’s passion is getting accessible information and knowledge to those who need it. Her master’s degree in Intercultural Communication shaped her approach to meeting people where they are, and she enjoys nothing more than helping others find success. At Morgan & Westfield, Melanie is involved in the flow of knowledge within, from, and to the organization.

Outside of work, Melanie loves to spend her time reading, hanging out with her partner and dogs, and cooking.

Senior M&A Analyst and Managing Editor

With a BFA in Stage Management and an MBA in International Business, Pamela’s career is varied, including twenty years in professional theatre, managing sales in the Pacific Northwest for a publishing company, and working as a technical recruiter for Microsoft. Through it all is her love of learning and writing, which she has regularly used in her work with Morgan & Westfield since 2017.

When she is not at the computer, Pamela spends time with her family enjoying Southern California or reading with a cat in her lap.

Jane San Miguel

Senior M&A Analyst

Jane joined Morgan & Westfield in 2014 after a career in human resources in the retail and advertising industry. This experience, on top of a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology, has served her well in the field of M&A. Jane most enjoys learning about clients’ businesses, understanding their journeys through their company’s histories, and helping to market them for sale.

Jane’s fierce sense of loyalty and love of learning are obvious in her dedication to the Morgan & Westfield team and clients. Outside of work, Jane keeps busy with her family, singing, playing with her children, and cooking new foods.

Chesea Tomaroy

Chesea Tomaroy

Senior M&A Analyst

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Chesea began working in manufacturing and distribution. She also gained experience as a bookkeeper for a few U.S. and Canadian companies in the industrial services sector.

Passionate about learning the world of M&A and continuously improving in her field, Chesea has leveraged her know-how and experience in order to exceed client expectations. She continues to grow by reading books and diving into anything that widens her knowledge of the job.

Chesea is a passionate foodie, outdoor enthusiast, and spiritual person. When she’s not working, she’s spending her free time taking long walks, meditating, or going to the beach or gym, enjoying her time with friends and family, as well as her cats and dogs.

With a master’s degree in Finance and Management from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom and experience as a financial analyst for multinational Swiss and British organizations, Philip brings exceptional financial acumen to Morgan & Westfield. He shares his great curiosity, passion for learning, and continuous improvement with his team and goes above and beyond to exceed his clients’ expectations. 

Philip also enjoys going on adventures, visiting new places, and trying new foods with friends and family. 

Bob Bogda

Bob Bogda

Content Director

Bob began his career as a reporter for The Wall Street Journal, covering the rough-and-tumble world of commodities trading from the Journal’s Chicago bureau. His later career included editorial and management positions at the former Knight-Ridder, where he played a key role in training international journalists and developing a real-time financial news and information service geared to brokers and stock market traders. More recently, Bob served as Managing Editor for investment publishers in Washington DC and Austin, Texas.

Bob feels fortunate to have worked in the information industry both pre- and post-internet. His early stories for The Wall Street Journal were written on a typewriter, and his later work involved using technology to instantly transmit news alerts around the world with the push of a button.

A native of Wisconsin, Bob remains a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers. Since 2011, Bob has lived in California with his wife Pam, a nursing administrator.

Mike Cooke

Mike Cooke

Director of Media Production

Mike started his professional career as an Audio Engineer, working at some of the most prestigious recording studios in the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, and the United States. Later, moving his skillset over to post-production, he was appointed as Director of Production for one of the world’s leading audio branding agencies. He managed a team of highly skilled producers who crafted audio marketing for over 36,000 subscribing clients, including Coca-Cola, Audi, and Samsung. He helped develop pioneering techniques in digital editing and post-production in a process that was granted a patent in the UK.

Today, Mike specializes in dialogue editing, restoring audio, and podcast editing and mastering. He enjoys keeping up with the latest in technology, coding, writing and playing music, and spending quality time with his family.
