Take the first step risk-free with zero commitments. The Assessment includes everything you need to intelligently plan for the sale of your business. Our initial assessment includes specifically recommended services and the price for each service for Steps 2 to 4 of our process.

Since we are receiving a fee for the Assessment, we are not tempting you with a “free” assessment in hopes of gaining your commissioned business later. Our focus is on giving you the most accurate, objective, and unbiased evaluation possible so you can make the best decision for yourself and your business.

Clients who complete our Assessment and sign up for Step 2 within 30 days receive a credit of 100% of the Step 1 fee toward Step 2.

The Morgan & Westfield Assessment Package fee depends on the size of your business. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Up to $5 million in annual revenue | $1,500
  • $5 million to $25 million in annual revenue | $2,450
  • $25 million to $100 million in annual revenue | $2,950

Our process of preparing your business for sale is more thorough than that of even the most experienced firms in the country. Why? Because we have spent over a decade streamlining and documenting the Morgan & Westfield 4-Step Method, and we have a staff of seasoned experts exclusively devoted to this one step.

Choose all Preparation Package services for one flat fee, or customize your Preparation services with individual pricing for each service. As with Assessment package fees, Preparation package fees vary based on the type and size of the company, and the services required (e.g. Teaser, Financial Assessment, etc.), and typically range from $1,500 to $4,000 for small businesses and $3,000 to $7,500 for mid-sized businesses.

Marketing packages typically range from $250 to $500 per month for small businesses and $500 to $1,000 per month for mid-sized businesses and vary based on the type and size of the company, and the services required (targeted marketing campaigns are not needed for every business). Marketing efforts can be updated, revised, or added to at any time.

Morgan & Westfield manages your Closing for a one-time, commission-based Success Fee, calculated as follows:

  • 8% of the first $1 million, plus
  • 6% of the second $1 million, plus
  • 4% of the third $1 million, plus
  • 2% of the fourth $1 million, plus
  • 1% of everything above $4 million.
