Cash Flow Statement

A financial report that states the cash coming into a company from its operations and investments, as well as the cash going out of a company for the payment of business activities and investments.

This is one of the three main types of financial statements — the other two are the profit & loss statement (also called an income statement) and the balance sheet. The cash flow statement is broken down into operating, investing, and financing activities.
