Sell a Business: Middle Market (Gross Revenue more than $5 Million)
At Morgan & Westfield, we target privately-held companies with annual sales ranging from $1 million to $30 million or more. You will work directly with our experienced Corporate Middle Market Team in conjunction with our local Raleigh, North Carolina office. We help you in all phases of the transaction; from preparing your company for sale, establishing a valuation and asking price, preparing key documents, market and competitive analysis, preparing an offering memorandum, creating a marketing strategy, qualification of prospective buyers, negotiation, due diligence and orchestrating the closing. Business Valuations | Business Appraisals
Morgan & Westfield is dedicated to either working with you or contracting with a third-party appraisal company in helping you obtain a business valuation or business appraisal at the lowest possible cost. At Morgan & Westfield, we are specialists in selling businesses and have had decades of experience in business sales. This experience is important when it comes to valuing a business with the intent to sell your company. Companies that specialize exclusively in business appraisals often do not have an in-depth understanding of buyer’s needs and wants. At Morgan & Westfield, the majority of our in-house valuations are prepared for individuals or companies who wish to know the worth of their company for the purpose of selling it. For court-ordered appraisals and any other appraisal not relating to selling a business, we contract with third parties at discounted rates.
