Steven Oppenheim is a Partner at Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. He is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of public accounting experience. Mr. Oppenheim provides accounting, consulting and tax services to a diversified client base including closely-held companies and family-owned businesses. His expertise includes working with clients in the real estate industry, high net worth individuals and trust and estates. He is also a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Trust & Estates Groups.

As a member of the Real Estate Group, Mr. Oppenheim advises both commercial and residential owners and developers on matters that may impact their businesses. He provides consultation and advisory services in the analysis, acquisition, and tax planning for real estate transactions. In addition, he provides real estate and private equity funds with accounting, consulting and tax support.

As a member of the Trust & Estates Group, Mr. Oppenheim provides high-net-worth individuals with diversified accounting, consulting, tax planning, and trust and estate services including the preparation of fiduciary income tax returns for simple trusts, complex trusts, grantor trusts, charitable remainder unitrusts and charitable remainder annuity trusts. Additionally, he has experience with an array of estate and trust administration services, among them planning and preparing state and federal estate and gift tax returns.

A graduate of the University at Buffalo, Mr. Oppenheim is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Estate Planning Council of Nassau County, and the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners. He also volunteers his time to coaching children in sports activities in his community.
